What a great compilation of 90s awesomeness this is.
For a long time I thought this was an easy one to collect but then someone on ebay claimed to be having a color vinyl pressing. Apart from that claim I've never heard about any variation but of course I had to check it out so I bought it and I'm still not sure what it is. At first glance it looks like a regular black vinyl except that it's very thin. When you hold it up to the light it appears to be brown with a red tinge and even a few streaks that are even more on the red side. Now I do have other 7"es from the 90s that are so thin they appear brown held up to the light. I'd say that's usually not really a color vinyl pressing but in this case with the streaks I don't know. Although it's probably just one of the first copies that were pressed when maybe they pressed some red vinyl records right before.

I was up to two copies already when I found a version with a pre-release cover. Naturally I had to have that one too.

So now there are 3 copies in my collection but again no idea about test pressings . If you like this blog I'd accept one as a thank you though if there are any.

At the time of its release all songs were unreleased.

update August 10th 2023:

Meanwhile I know that the alleged color vinyl pressing is a regular black pressing with not enough graphite put into the vinyl mix. See the post for the split with Groundwork  for a more in depth explanation.
